This year, members of our department participated once again in the German Physical Society's spring conference, which focused on matter and the cosmos. The conference took place from March 31 to April 4 at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
The DPG Spring conferences are held annually at various locations, each with a different thematic focus. With approximately 10.000 physicists attending each year, these conferences are among the largest physics conferences in Europe. Physicists, particularly early-career researchers, present their work and network with other scientists.
In Göttingen this year, twelve talks were given by bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students from our department. The talks highlighted current challenges and achievements in our research, including neutrino deconvolution, machine learning methods for radio galaxies, and long-term analyses of high-energy gamma rays.
